3 Cold Weather Tips For Your Critical Power System

1| Block Heater – Ensure the engine coolant is warm. The easiest way to do this is to carefully and safely touch the block heater and hoses to ensure they are warm to the touch.

2 | Batteries – Your lead-acid batteries should be less than three years old.

3 | Fuel – See our suggestions based on fuel type:

Diesel Fuel – Make sure the fuel level in your main tank is above 1/2.

Natural Gas – Keep snow away from the generator enclosure and any gas line components to ensure the natural gas system can operate properly.

NOTE: In sub-zero temps, avoid running your unit, unless necessary.
